2. Products and Colour Representation
As with all printed products, we cannot guarantee that the print and finish of the stationery will exactly match what is shown on your computer screen. Colour variations may occur due to differences in monitor calibration, print methods, materials, and finishes.
Samples and Proofs:
A card swatch sample is strongly recommended before confirming your booking, as it provides a better representation of the product. However, please note that a 100% colour match is not guaranteed.
Refunds will not be issued for minor colour discrepancies between digital proofs, hard copy proofs, and final prints.
3. Timing and Deadlines
Creating your stationery involves multiple steps, and timelines may vary depending on the complexity of your order and the availability of details from you.
General Timeline: Unless otherwise agreed, orders typically require a minimum of 4-12 weeks from the date we receive all required details and approvals.
Estimated Timescales: While we will do our best to meet agreed timelines, all timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays caused by factors outside our control, such as postal strikes or supplier/courier issues, may affect delivery.
Client Delays: If we request details or approvals by a certain date and you do not respond in time, we cannot be held responsible for any resulting delays.
4. Cancellations
We reserve the right to charge for work completed to date.
For bespoke orders, cancellations made after proof approval will not be refunded, and the balance will be due in full.
Refunds for cancellations are at our discretion and depend on the stage of work completed.
5. Delivery
Unless otherwise agreed, deliveries are made via Royal Mail Special Delivery, a courier service, or another method requiring a signature upon receipt.
Delivery Costs: Delivery fees are paid by you and are included in your invoice.
Delivery Times: Please allow at least 4 working days for delivery from the date of postage.
Liability for Delivery:
It is your responsibility to ensure someone is available to sign for the parcel at the delivery address provided.
Once items are posted, responsibility for loss or damage in transit passes to you. While we package items securely, we cannot be held liable for issues caused by couriers or postal services.
6. Returns and Complaints
If there is an error in your order due to a mistake on our part, you must notify us in writing within 5 working daysof receiving your order.
If requested, you must return the faulty items in their original packaging. If we accept responsibility for the error, we will cover the return postage costs.
Refunds are issued at our discretion and are not provided for colour variations between proofs and final prints.
7. Intellectual Property
All artwork and designs remain the property of Morello Press and are protected by copyright law.
You are granted a non-exclusive licence to use the designs solely for your personal event.
Designs may not be reproduced, resold, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
Morello Press reserves the right to use completed projects and designs for marketing purposes, including but not limited to:
Displaying work on our website and social media platforms
Printed promotional materials
Educational purposes, such as design competitions or publications
Personal details included in designs will be protected and not disclosed.
8. Consumer Rights (Cooling-Off Period)
Under UK consumer law, bespoke or personalised goods are exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off period.
For non-personalised items, such as sample packs, you may cancel your order within 14 days of receipt, provided the items are returned unused and in their original condition. Return postage costs are your responsibility.
9. Data Protection
We comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Your personal data will only be used to process your order and communicate with you. For more details, please see our Privacy Policy.
10. Liability
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as emotional distress caused by delayed stationery.
Our maximum liability is limited to the total value of your order.
11. Postage Regulations and Sizing
It is your responsibility to ensure that the stationery and envelopes provided meet postage requirements for your location (e.g., Royal Mail regulations).
If you require specific sizes or need adjustments to meet postage requirements, this must be requested prior to printing.
12. Force Majeure
Morello Press is not liable for delays or failure to fulfil obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Natural disasters, strikes, postal disputes, or courier delays
Government restrictions or changes in regulations
Supply chain disruptions
13. Bespoke Design Work
Bespoke design work is charged at an additional cost. The cost will depend on the complexity of the brief and will be outlined in your initial quote.
Amendments:
You are entitled to one set of major amendments and up to three sets of minor amendments within the bespoke design fee.
Additional amendments may incur extra charges, which will be discussed before further work is undertaken.
14. Right to Amend Terms
Morello Press reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website, and it is your responsibility to review them before placing an order.
15. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
